Halloween

Halloween night was great! We went to a nearby neighborhood that was a huge circle and practically had the area to ourselves. The boys knew exactly what to do and didn't want to stop. Carter kept saying 'more trick or treat'. After we finished we went home and checked the goods out!

Preparing for the night.

In action.

Getting antsy.

More action.

The ride home.

The aftermath.

And finally, the loot!

YMCA Boo Night

The Saturday before Halloween we went to our gym's Boo Night party. It had a handful of little kid activities, a bouncy house, and a cake walk. We weren't there too long, but the boys enjoyed it and loved any excuse to get in their costumes!

FHE Pumpkin Carving

The Monday before Halloween we did our annual pumpkin carving for family night. Mimi and Papa were here because they graciously accepted our plea to come watch the boys while I had to go to a work orientation from 8-5 everyday that week. The boys had a great time. Collin loves getting his hands in the goop, Carter does not. The finishing products were a scary jack-o-lantern and a pirate.

Family night treat!

This Is Why . . .

I am very behind on blogging (and the small fact that I recently started a new job and had to do full-time orientation the last week and a half)! I knew I didn't want to start these Stephanie Meyer books for this exact reason, I wouldn't want to do anything else with my little bit of spare time. Right now I'm on the third book, but maybe I will try to squeeze in some blogging time (and everything else that has been neglected) tonight. Until then!
