Better Late Than Never!

Last weekend we had fun celebrating Easter! Logan's parents were here because we made the leap and bought a van in Oregon and they drove it down for us (pictures to come some day). We didn't have church until 1:00 p.m. so we had a leisurely morning of Easter egg hunts, going through our Easter basket goodies, and having a yummy breakfast; the boys helped daddy make French toast. We also tried to teach Collin the true meaning of Easter and I think he actually grasped the concept between mouthfuls of treats.

San Fran's Pier 39

Last weekend Logan's parents came to visit and we once again took advantage of another Saturday before the baby arrives. We went to Pier 39 in San Francisco. It has lots of little shops (we raided the salt water taffy candy shop), restaurants (we had clam chowder bread bowls...yum), sea lions, and a carousel. It was a fun morning excursion and the weather was beautiful!

Current Dilemma

Help!!! We're having a baby any day now and we still can't agree on a name. I would love some ideas/suggestions. I like more non-traditional names, but nothing too crazy. And no, it doesn't need to be a "C" name, that was just coincidence and not done on purpose. Thanks!

Beach Bums!

Since we're due to have a baby real soon, we have taken advantage of our Saturdays to go do some fun things as a family (while it will be a little less hectic). Collin loves Saturdays and can't wait for "family day when daddy doesn't have to go to work"! Last week we went to Santa Cruz. It's a beach town about 75 miles from us. The weather was in the 70's and we had a great time. I was mostly a beached whale, but the boys dug holes in the sand and made castles. Collin accidently fell down in the surf while trying to escape an oncoming wave as he was collecting water for his masterpiece. He now goes around telling everybody he fell in the ocean. After playing in the sand, we walked the boardwalk, rode the carousel, and had corn dogs, fries, and root beer (really healthy I know, but the boys loved it)!

I'M So Glad When Daddy Comes Home!

After two months away, daddy is finally home! We are all very excited. Logan took three days off from work to hang out together and the boys loved it. We went bowling, van shopping, to the Muir Woods, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Collin and Carter got to play really rough with daddy and do a lot of "boy" things. They are now in a "jousting phase" and want to play "knights" all the time. I've enjoyed having another parent around. The boys want "daddy do it" which is totally fine with me. They have been waking up extra early yelling out for "daaaaaaddy" and Logan doesn't mind at all. Here's some pictures of our extended weekend. Look how long Logan's hair is! He usually gets a haircut every two weeks, but he didn't get any while in Switzerland. Collin loved playing "in the woods" and Carter didn't want to stop bowling!
