Collin had his first day of soccer on Saturday. He didn't enjoy it too much last year and was a little apprehensive about going this year. We signed him up at the YMCA (the same place where he had his sports camp) so we convinced him to go try it out. He LOVED it! He got his new shirt, found his team, and started practicing. The first 1/2 hour was spent doing skills and the last 1/2 hour was spent playing a game. He scored the only goal and the look on his face was priceless when everyone started cheering for him. He made a new friend and asked if he could come back again next week.
The age group is 3-5 years old, but he is by far the tallest.
*Warning! Bragging mother!
The league director asked me if I wanted to move him up to the 6-8 year old group. I nicely declined; he still needs to learn how to play the game.
Watch out Beckham!
Daddy helped coach.
He likes to be the goalie.

I love that last pic of him bending over guarding the goal, he looks so cute & ready!
That's so fun. He's going to be a terrific athlete.
He looks like he's having a great time! How funny is it that his soccer jersey is the same color as Riley and Kaden's?!
Looks like fun! Wish we could be there to cheer him on.
Way to go Collin!
