Monterey Bay, California

For the President's Day holiday, we loaded up the van and headed to Monterey Bay. We've been wanting to go there for awhile and it is actually not too far from us. It rained on and off, but we still had a lot of fun. The first day we went to the Dennis the Menace Park, drove the 17 Mile Drive (Poppy Hills Golf Course, Pebble Beach Golf Course where the Pro-Am was taking place, and Carmel), wandered some of the nearby beaches, went swimming, and went out to eat.

We spent our last day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It is huge and has lots of fun things to see and do. The boys had a blast running from one area to another. We spent about four hours there and then headed back home.

We went to Monterrey right before you guys moved there. We loved it. The shopping in Carmel is so fun- you should go without your kids sometime. We also loved the aquarium. glad you had a good time!

I love reading about all the things you guys are doing out there, it always reminds me of when we went those places when we lived out there. That is one thing I miss about not living out there anymore, it is so close to so many fun things, and I miss the ocean, enjoy it while you're there!
